Fortuna Consulting, based in Dallas, Texas, was founded in the summer of 2019 to serve as a boutique fundraising and consulting firm for a new generation of leaders and causes. In Roman religion, Fortuna was the goddess of fortune and the personification of luck, often blind luck, two qualities that weigh heavily in a successful fundraising campaign. Fortuna is committed to providing clients with impeccable strategic advice and access to the best fundraising network in Texas. We focus on political candidates, campaigns and art world nonprofits.

Kaleta Blaffer Johnson
Founder, Fortuna Consulting, LLC
Kaleta founded Fortuna Consulting after almost a decade of working in the political finance world. A native Houstonian, Kaleta graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service with a degree in International Politics and moved from Washington to Austin to work for then-Governor Rick Perry and later Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst before coming to Dallas to focus on campaign finance consulting. Kaleta’s experience includes political major donor fundraising for Presidential candidates, Governors, U.S. Senators and Congressmen, Texas State Senators and Representatives as well as a number of Political Action Committees. She also has extensive fundraising experience in the Arts and the nonprofit world. Kaleta is active in the Dallas community as a Board Member of Dallas Contemporary, a TACA Grant Panelist, and a Friend of Park Cities Republican Women and Dallas Young Republicans, among other pursuits.
